Now Accepting Ranger of the Year Nominations

Ranger of the Year 2008

It is that time to start thinking about nominations for the 2008 Ranger of the Year award.  This year we are going to change the process a little.  Nominations will be accepted until midnight CDST on December 15th, 2008.  Once all the nominations are compiled that information will be emailed to uniform personnel to review.  Voting will be done electronically through email and the deadline for voting will be noted when the nominations go out.  This will allow the recipient of the award to be recognized at in-service in front of their peers.

The Nomination process has changed also.  You may nominate only one person to be Ranger of the Year.  You need to keep your nomination to 500 words or less.  This award is for Ranger of the Year, your nominations should reflect the accomplishments of the nominee over this past year, which you feel qualifies them for a nomination.  Please see the attached nomination form for criteria of the nominee.  Nominations will need to be emailed to me Christopher.Padgett@state.tn.us by the deadline.  Any nominations made after the deadline will not be accepted.

I have no doubt there are many deserving individuals among our ranks, so please take the time to nominate.

Thanks,

Chris
