5 Board Member Positions open for nominations

The Tennessee Park Rangers Association will be holding elections for five board member positions this year.  The vacant representative positions are one each from west, middle and east Tennessee, along with both state-wide positions.  If you know someone whom you think would be a good representative, talk with him or her about it and see if they are interested.  We will be accepting nominations until Jan. 1st  2010.  Elections will be made electronically through email and the new board members will be introduced at in-service.   If there is only one nominee for a vacant position, the board will vote on whether to accept the nominee for the position.

The duties of a board member consist of attending quarterly board meetings, serving on a committee(s) and presenting issues to the board brought to their attention.  Board members serve for a two year term.

Nominations will need to be emailed to me at Christopher.Padgett@tn.gov by the deadline.  Any nominations made after the deadline will not be accepted.
